Detail, Shape and Form

As the saying goes "the devil is in the detail". In photography too, great shots lurk within ordinary, everyday objects and views, just waiting to be extracted by keen eyes.

When the weather or light (or both) is less than optimal for landscapes, or when the mood takes me, I love looking for details within a scene. The interplay between colour, shape, texture and light fascinate me.
